School representatives said third‑benchmark reading proficiency stood at 43.7% with overall reading growth at 63.4% and growth for the bottom 25% at 67%. Math proficiency was reported at 46.4% with overall math growth at 56.6% and bottom‑25 math growth at 37.5%. Science proficiency was reported at 62.6% with a participation rate of 97%.
Using predicted data from MasteryConnect, the school reported a total score of 377 points, giving it an accountability grade of B. The April enrollment figure reported for May was 282 students. The school reported a student attendance average (ABA) of 92.38%, a teacher attendance rate of 96.46% and 52 discipline referrals for the reporting month; staff noted five of those referrals were bus‑related.
On discipline causes, school staff said their records did not show classroom phone usage as a primary cause for the month's referrals; most recent phone issues were reported outside classrooms, on playgrounds and in hallways.
Presenters invited questions from the board and provided the statistics as part of the district’s Schools at Risk reporting process.
