The Rock Hill City Council on May 12, 2025, approved an agreement intended to articulate the working relationship between the City of Rock Hill and the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation (RHEDC).
Lisa Brown presented the agreement to council, saying it sets out the partnership after RHEDC was reconstituted two years earlier and noting steps taken such as shrinking the board size and aligning goals. “Tonight before you is an agreement seeking to articulate the working relationship between the city of Rock Hill and the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation,” Brown said. She also stated the agreement had been approved by the RHEDC executive committee and was before council for consideration.
Council members identified as having served on RHEDC were acknowledged in the discussion; the council approved the agreement by voice vote. The transcript records no amendments or roll-call vote.
