“...the revenue increase there is approximately 44.8% increase in our contract renewal. Contract expires in 02/1930, but at the increase for additional revenue there is representative additional units for pickup,” the budget presenter said. Staff indicated the appropriation changes align with the increased revenue and invited questions; none were raised during the workshop.
Why it matters: the change affects user-related costs and the city’s solid-waste contract obligations. Council did not take a formal vote during the workshop; staff will include the adjusted figures in the draft budget for the June meeting.
