The action to approve the minutes passed with one abstention from new commissioner Pete Klein, who was not a member at the Dec. 9 meeting, and the commission adjourned after roughly 25 minutes of routine business.
The vote to approve the minutes drew little debate. Commissioner Lee moved to approve the Dec. 9 minutes; the motion was seconded and carried with one abstention. "He has to abstain," a commissioner said during the roll call when asked whether Pete Klein could vote on minutes from a meeting he had not attended.
