Blaine Lafontaine, representing Port Harbors, asked the board "for consideration of approval for the Port Harbors docket of claims dated 04/28/2025 in the amount of $750,793.45." The board approved that docket by recorded motion (motion by District 2; motion carries 5‑0).
Later the board approved the county docket of claims for May 5, 2025, in the amount of $1,836,719.64 (motion by District 4; carried 5‑0). The board also approved an interfund transfer of $50,000 into fleet maintenance (fund sources: $14,000 from general fund, $33,000 from road fund, $3,000 from seawall fund), and recorded that the transfer was budgeted.
Other financial and procurement approvals included a budget amendment to purchase a commercial hot‑water heater from Mechanical Services LLC for $23,005 for the EMA building (motion recorded as approved 5‑0), and authorization for a 48‑month rental agreement for a jail booking copier at $15 per month.
