Board members said they would meet with department heads to reestablish roles and responsibilities and to ensure receiving/ inventory procedures are followed.
No disciplinary or legal action was taken during the meeting. The board directed administrative follow-up: staff were instructed to improve communications about new equipment arrivals and to ensure the receiving clerk places incoming vehicles on the county inventory before distribution.
