Carlisle council approves procedural items, moves to executive session

At its regular meeting, the Carlisle City Council approved several procedural items before moving into an executive session.
Council voted to excuse Council member Missus Kemper, who was reported absent on vacation. A motion to excuse her was seconded and approved by roll call with all present members voting yes.
The council approved the minutes of the April regular meeting as presented by roll call.
As reported elsewhere in this package, council voted to suspend the rule requiring three readings and then adopted Resolution 14-25 by roll call to authorize the city manager to apply for the Ohio Department of Development housing-technical-assistance grant.
Near the meeting’s end council voted to enter executive session under Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(G)(2) to consider the purchase or sale of property for public purposes; the council stated no action would follow the executive session. The motion to enter executive session was moved and seconded and approved by roll call.
