Planning staff presented the voluntary, contiguous annexation request and said the owner sought annexation to connect to public water and sewer. Aaron Joseph, presenting for the planning department, said the parcel sits between Bridal Road and Hebron Church Road and is currently zoned rural‑agricultural. “The site is 1.07 acres. This request stems from a request to connect to public water and sewer,” Joseph said.
No members of the public had signed up to speak on the item. Councilmember Vance moved to adopt the annexation ordinance; Councilmember Matthews seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance.
Next steps: the town clerk will record the ordinance and staff will process utility‑connection requests and any required permitting for service extensions.
