The Taylorsville City Council on March 5 approved its Feb. 19, 2025 minutes and later voted to meet in closed session to discuss the "character/competence of an individual," citing the statutory closed-session provision the council selected.

Closed session: Later in the meeting council member Bob (audio identified as "Bob") moved to adjourn the open meeting and go into closed session "for the purposes of discussing character competence of an individual or individuals." A motion and a second were recorded, and the council voted yes: Chair Harker — yes; Council member Cochran — yes; Council member Barbieri — yes; Council member Knudson — yes; Council member Burgess — yes. The closed session was authorized and the council adjourned after the closed session was completed.
