Belpre Women's Club donates fishing-line recycling bins for park

According to the mayor, the bins — described as “Reel In and Recycle” fishing-line recycling receptacles — will be placed at locations recommended by the Bass Club and installed by the street department. The Women’s Club will collect full units and return them to the program sponsor or manufacturer for recycling. The mayor thanked the Women’s Club for the initiative, saying they saw the concept at the beach and thought it would benefit Belpre’s waterways.
Council did not take formal action; the mayor said staff will coordinate placement with the Bass Club and the street department will install the units.
