City will get monthly updates on Renew Shreveport bond projects, program manager says

Chris Erickson, program manager for Clean Water Shreveport and director for the Renew Shreveport streets and drainage program, told the council the administration will provide a dashboard and regular updates on bond-funded water, sewer and streets projects to increase transparency.
Erickson said the dashboard will be available to council members and the public and that project partners including Marcus Bonanton will appear for project-specific briefings. "There's gonna be, at the very least, monthly updates," Erickson said, adding the team will flag projects that will begin construction in the coming months so residents and council members are not surprised by street work.
Council members asked for monthly briefings and timely notifications for residents about upcoming street cuts, water-line staging and major pipeline placement. Erickson said the administration and information technology staff are working on a public-facing dashboard and that regular updates will cover both water-and-sewer GeoBond projects and streets-and-drainage work.
Ending: Erickson said the team will return regularly to council and be available to meet with districts; the administration will also decide a cadence for how often each type of project is reported depending on construction timing and public impact.
