The Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority approved a five-item consent agenda at its May 7 meeting, including contracts for engineering and parking services, elevator modernization and a public art installation.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Melvin, a board member, and seconded by another board member. The agenda items accepted were: a proposal from Fishback for engineering and parking services for fiscal year 2026; a proposal from Schindler Elevator Corporation to modernize the elevator at the Anne Ashley parking structure; a professional services agreement with Dreamweaver Concepts to design, fabricate and install the "seeds to streets" (Garytown Way) public art project; approval of DDA minutes for March and April 2025; and approval of DDA disbursements for January, February and March 2025.
The board voted by voice; the consent agenda was approved. No items were pulled for separate discussion.
