Board carries one application, approves Knoll Manor resolution and recommends Lackawanna Avenue redevelopment plan

The Parsippany (Troy Hills) Planning Board on April 21 carried one applicant’s request to May 5 without further notice and took two additional procedural actions: it approved a resolution for Knoll Manor Associates’ minor site plan and recommended adoption of a redevelopment plan for 169 Lackawanna Avenue.

The board accepted a written request from John Miller of Inglisino Taylor to carry application 24:524 to the May 5 meeting; the board approved the carry motion without opposition. The applicant’s attorney said they needed additional time to respond to the board professionals’ reports.

The board also approved Resolution for application 24:5 10, Knoll Manor Associates (North Beverwyck Road, block and lot numbers as recorded) for a minor site plan with C variance for a maintenance yard. A motion to adopt the resolution passed on roll call with those present voting in the affirmative.

Separately, the board conducted a consistency review for a redevelopment plan at 169 Lackawanna Avenue and voted to recommend adoption based on that review. The planner noted a drafting correction to the title of the circulated draft before the motion was made and recorded.

All listed actions were procedural and unanimous among the members present; no public testimony in opposition or in favor was recorded on these items during the meeting.
