Commissioners discussed design tweaks (for example, reversing colors on option 5 so hands contrast with a yellow bell), and Vice Chair Anderson recommended any public‑facing symbol include the words “ASL interpreter provided.” Staff (Daisy) said she would separate the two items on next month’s agenda — one for the interpreter notification symbol and another for the commission’s logo — so commissioners could vote on each independently.
A motion to remove two design pages from the current packet and return them as two separate agenda items for the June meeting was moved, seconded and passed. Commissioners asked staff to include the color‑swap option as an additional choice and to supply corrected artwork and wording on the slide so commissioners can review before the vote. No logo was adopted at this meeting.
