Commission discusses rotating representation to Board of Health; meeting adjourned by unanimous voice vote

Vice Chair Joe Kracci opened a discussion about appointing a commission representative to attend Board of Health meetings and asked members to consider taking turns. Kracci said the role is a commitment and invited interested commissioners to inform staff; he noted the Board of Health meets in person on a Monday evening (times cited as about 7 or 8 p.m.).

Commissioners suggested rotating the duty so different members could cover occasional meetings. Several members asked whether the Board of Health meets by Zoom; staff said meetings are currently set to be in person. Commissioners asked staff to circulate the Board of Health meeting schedule so members could identify months they could attend.

At the end of the meeting a motion to adjourn was made, seconded, and the commission voted by voice. The chair declared the meeting adjourned.
