Councilmember McGeofford moved to approve beer sales at the event; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Hagedorn and carried on a voice vote. Visitor and Lions Club representative Bonn addressed council at the visitor section before the vote and was invited to coordinate logistics with city clerk pro tem staff.
The council did not attach additional conditions or a separate permit hearing to the approval in the meeting record. City staff directed the Lions Club to work with clerk’s office staff for required signatures and event coordination.
The approval was taken during the council’s visitor and new business portion; no further debate or amendments were recorded.
