The Park City Council on May 13 approved a five-year contract with Getac for $224,616 to purchase 15 in-vehicle cameras, 23 body-worn cameras, five years of cloud storage, software and related services for the Park City Police Department, and separately authorized $10,500 to install the in-vehicle systems.
The measure, moved by Jim Schrader and seconded by Troy Hill, passed on a voice vote, 6-0. The equipment and storage will be paid from the special alcohol police fund; installation costs will be paid from the police general fund budget.
