At the Bay Village Finance Committee meeting on May 5, staff described upcoming sanitary‑sewer rehabilitation work and related catch‑basin repairs and said the preliminary combined cost estimate is about $1.3 million.
"The 1.3 number was the sewer rehabilitation, which was the main lines and portions of the laterals on the catch basis, combination," Jeff said during the discussion, adding that the main‑line sanitary rehab alone is about $1,200,000 and the earlier estimate for catch‑basin work had been roughly $500,000 (original budget split noted as $450,000 sewer and $50,000 stormwater). Staff cautioned that designs are not finished and the figure is preliminary.

Staff said the projects are expected to be bid after the engineering/design phase is advanced and that council approval will be sought to advertise and accept bids.
