Kathy Atwood, representing the Wood County Park District, presented Perrysburg City Council with a 2025 park grant check to fund a wall‑mounted bottle filler station for a city park.
Atwood said the grant program has been offered to municipalities, villages and townships for decades and that Perrysburg has been a regular participant. "The program has enabled significant improvements in parks and recreation facilities across Wood County," Atwood told council during the presentation.
Council members thanked the Park District and the presentation concluded; council noted the downtown revitalization groundbreaking for May 15 elsewhere in the meeting's administrative reports.
