The North Hills School District Board of Education approved the AW Beatty Career Center operating budget for fiscal year 2025–26 at its May 15 legislative meeting.
The board president moved approval and Dee Spade seconded; the chair called the vote and the motion carried. The presentation noted that AW Beatty’s operating budget billing is calculated from a five‑year average of average daily membership (ADM) as verified by member districts and that member districts are the primary funding source for the operating budget.
Board member Rennebeck added that Beatty made up NOCTI exams following a recent storm and reminded the board that Beatty’s end‑of‑year picnic is scheduled for May 22. The superintendent’s recommendation was to approve the attached operating budget and the board approved it as part of the action.
The board did not record a roll call tally in the public remarks; the chair announced "Aye" votes and said the motion carries.
