Millville commission approves transfers, contracts, union agreements and routine ordinances in unanimous votes

- Ordinance (first reading) approving an event request for Dividing Creek Fire and Rescue on Aug. 23, 2025 at the intersections of Buckschudam and Cedarville Road — advanced on first reading (roll call vote: yes).
- Ordinance (first reading) amending Millville Code Chapter 62 (solid waste collection) to allow the director of public works to offer replacement or additional approved containers at a price fixed by the director — advanced on first reading; staff explained actual container costs vary with purchase quantity and shipping.

- Appointment of Timothy Carty as a regular member of the Millville Zoning Board of Adjustment for term 01/21/2025–01/20/2029 — approved.
- Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Millville and the Firemen’s Benevolent Association Local 63 covering conditions of employment for 2024–2027 — approved.
- Authorization for a special-event public-lands application: Olympic Day Parade sponsored by the Millville Board of Education on High Street, Friday, May 23, 2025, 9:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. — authorized pending required approvals.
