Summary
The Fillmore City Council approved a two‑year extension to its Planet Bids support-services agreement, keeping the city’s electronic procurement and bid-management system in place through July 13, 2027.
The City Council approved a first amendment to the support-services agreement with Planet Bids, extending the electronic procurement system contract two years through July 13, 2027.
Shannon (staff) said Planet Bids provides electronic vendor and bid management, insurance-certificate tracking and contract management across multiple departments, and that the vendor has been “reliable and responsive.” The amendment implements a 3% annual price increase previously agreed in the original contract; year-4 and year-5 costs were presented as $16,336.27 and $16,826.36, respectively.
Councilmember Michael moved to approve the amendment; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The item is funded from the administration contract-services budget.
The council’s vote authorizes the city manager and finance staff to execute the amendment and continue using the Planet Bids service for procurement and vendor compliance.
