Commissioners said the contracts amend previously approved agreements to address unknowns discovered after initial contracting and to continue preservation work on a territorial‑style house at the Klein Ranch north of Como. Kate (staff referenced in the work session) had earlier told the board BVH’s scope was reduced because the work will be completed in a single summer rather than the two summers previously planned.
A commissioner moved to approve the revised contracts and the motion was seconded; the board called the question and approved the amendments by voice vote, 3‑0.
The board did not specify dollar amounts for the amendments during the public portion of the meeting; procurement files and contract documents are maintained in county records and will include the final amendment terms.
