Boerne ISD Trustees approved three administrative reclassifications announced after the board reconvened in open session at 5:41 p.m.
Superintendent Dr. Christian Craft told trustees she was "really excited and thankful for your approval this evening for three reclassifications," then introduced the staff members being recognized. Ramiro Guerrero was introduced as the district's new executive director of operations. Yvette, currently executive director of the Boerne Education Foundation and formerly coordinator of partnerships, was given expanded duties as executive director of community engagement. Dr. Maggie Dominguez received a title change to executive director of communications.
Dr. Craft said the changes respond to recommendations in a recent NSPRA report and aim to match staff strengths to district needs. She described the shifts as strategic adjustments to separate community engagement and communications work so district teams can focus on roles and responsibilities.
Board President Garrett Wilson and trustees joined district staff for brief recognition photos after the announcements. The personnel reclassifications were presented as approved by the board; no separate roll-call vote on each reclassification was read aloud in the transcript.
