Local employee urges board to press state legislators to approve education budget

Garrett listed district roles he said would be affected if the budget is not adequate: teachers, support personnel, transportation, cafeteria, and custodial staff. He asked board members to "call those legislatures, beg them, plead them" so "the kids can get what they need." The board responded with thanks for his comments; no board action was recorded in response.
