Village approves pay requests and Clean Water Fund loan transfer for wastewater treatment upgrades

The Village of Jackson board approved two payments and a loan transfer for the 2024 wastewater treatment plant filters and disinfection project at the May 13 meeting.
The board approved Pay Request No. 14 to JH Haskinger in the amount of $224,165.80 for work on the filters and disinfection project. Trustees also approved Clean Water Fund loan transfer Request No. 11 for $234,824.81 to support the same 2024 wastewater treatment plant project. Both items were recommended by the Board of Public Works and the Budget & Finance Committee.
Trustee Olson moved to approve Pay Request No. 14; Trustee Engelhart seconded and the motion carried. Trustee Engelhart moved approval of the Clean Water Fund loan transfer and Trustee Olson (recorded as Olsen in the packet) seconded; that motion also carried on a voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Agenda materials list the payments and loan request as coming from Board of Public Works and Budget & Finance with recommendations to approve. The board did not add conditions to either approval at the May 13 meeting.
The two approvals commit $224,165.80 in contractor pay and $234,824.81 in Clean Water Fund loan disbursement related to ongoing 2024 wastewater plant improvements.
