Commission legal staff presented the ordinance, explaining the change affects only the start time; the day and other procedures remain unchanged. One commissioner said the adjustment will allow attendance at other boards that meet at noon on the same day.
The commission voted to approve the ordinance; staff said the change will be implemented beginning with the June 4 work session.
