He told the committee the truck would primarily be used for tree trimming and other tasks requiring greater reach and said staff hope to find a machine locally if possible. Landers also noted that annual safety inspections of lifts and dielectric units are required. The committee voted to place the purchase request on the regular agenda for full council consideration.
No final purchase authorization or procurement contract was approved during the committee meeting.
