Washington County Commissioners Court approved a stipend Tuesday for an employee who took on additional duties during an HR vacancy.
Miss Hollis asked the court to approve stipend pay for Kendall Haddish in the auditor's office for two weeks of work performing payroll training and temporary duties after HR staffing shortfalls. Hollis said the original request had been for a longer period but the court was being asked to approve two weeks (one pay period).
A commissioner moved to approve the stipend for the two-week pay period for Kendall Haddish; the court approved the motion by voice vote. County officials and commissioners thanked Hollis and her staff for stepping in to perform the work during a staffing gap.
