Tuolumne County supervisors on a morning session in the Board of Supervisors chambers unanimously adopted Resolution 24-25 proclaiming April 2025 as Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month and presented awards to winners of the county’s annual Prevent Child Abuse Month poster and poetry contest.
Josh Martin, recreation supervisor and chair of the Tuolumne Resiliency Coalition, said the coalition’s theme this year is “It Takes a Village, Strengthening Families and Communities” and urged community members to participate in awareness activities. “Pinwheels are symbols of hope, resilience, and our community's dedication to preventing child abuse and neglect,” Martin said, and he invited residents to wear blue and to attend a child abuse prevention luncheon on April 10 at 11 a.m. at the Chicken Ranch Casino…
