District honors business manager with Iowa ASBO award; introduces two new school resource officers

Anderson described the award as one of IASBO’s highest honors; recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship to present to a graduating senior from the recipient’s district, an invitation to an IASBO leadership conference and reimbursement for attendance at a national conference up to a fixed amount. Anderson outlined selection criteria including leadership in the schools, service to the profession and community involvement. After the recognition, the board welcomed the district’s newly appointed school resource officers. The administration introduced Kurt Wilson, currently with EICC and assigned to the high school and south-end elementary schools, and Paul Pridemore, who will be stationed at the junior high and north-end elementary schools.
