Commissioners agreed the idea could be low-cost and suitable for First Friday events and that Miles or another local artist could advise on paint type and durability.
Commissioners also discussed extending a chalk-art activity used during last year’s Mesquite Days onto the bike path and agreed to add both items to a future agenda for fuller discussion. Separately, a commissioner reported an anticipated fall beginner digital photography course at CSM Mesquite and invited interested residents to sign up once the course is listed.
No formal actions were taken; commissioners asked staff to add the items to a future agenda for more detailed planning.
