Commission confirms placement plan for baseball and softball statues near rec center

Commission staff are also discussing placement of a third statue at the library; Nick has been in contact with library staff. Commissioners discussed whether library permission had been secured; there was general agreement that staff-level conversations occurred but no formal council approval was documented at the meeting.
No formal vote was taken at the meeting on the statue placements. Commissioners noted ongoing coordination with city staff for final siting and installation logistics.
