Summary
City staff told council they received a hospital letter of intent for 401 Falcon Ridge Parkway and council voted to add a presentation; council also added discussion about a possible purchase contract with Commonwealth for senior housing on the parcel.
City of Mesquite staff told the council on April 1 that they have received a letter of intent from a hospital expressing interest in the city-owned parcel at 401 Falcon Ridge Parkway and the council voted to add a presentation on that letter to the agenda.
The addition came during the technical review meeting when a staff member identified as Miss Green said she had received “a letter of intent from the hospital for 401 Balcon [Falcon] Ridge Parkway, so they're gonna do a presentation.” Councilwoman Fielding moved to add the presentation; Councilwoman Wallis seconded the motion and the council called for a vote to place the presentation on a future agenda.
