Phoenixville council promotes Sergeant Pat Mark to lieutenant

Phoenixville Borough Council approved the promotion of Sergeant Pat Mark to lieutenant during its May 13 meeting.

Councilmember Berkley moved to authorize the promotion; Councilmember Weiss seconded. Council offered brief congratulatory remarks and the motion passed 8-0. No additional personnel details or compensation changes were discussed at the meeting.

Council members applauded Mark and noted the promotion was the subject of an executive session earlier in the evening that had included personnel matters. The action on the public record was a formal authorization of the promotion.
