Phoenixville Borough Council approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for work at 100 Bridge Street and amended the motion on the floor to specify Option 2 of the applicant—s submittal (application no. 25-00635).
Councilmember Dugan moved to approve the certificate, and the motion was seconded. The council discussed that this approval was not a routine consent-item and that the Historical Architectural Review Board / HARB had worked with the applicant. Councilmember Kirchner moved to amend the motion to specify Option 2 in the action memo and to note the application number; the amendment was seconded and adopted. Council then approved the amended motion unanimously, 8-0.
A council member noted the work is not highly visible and that HARB had collaborated with the applicant; the applicant was present at the meeting for questions. Council did not discuss detailed construction specifications at the meeting beyond referencing the action memo and Option 2 as the selected alternative.
