Council approves $15,741.74 reimbursement to Cleveland Water for Tramore Road project

The City Council voted to authorize payment to the Cleveland Water Department in the amount of $15,741.74 to reimburse unspent advanced funds for the Tramore Road water main replacement project. Director Kennedy described the payment as a routine cost reconciliation that follows project closeout: "This is a process we go through each time, to finalize cost reconciliations associated with projects that are funded in advance by the Cleveland Water Department," he said.
Kennedy said the Tramore Road project came in under the amount that Cleveland Water originally advanced to the city; earlier this year the council approved a similar reimbursement of about $52,000 for a different project. The motion to authorize the payment was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
