Ethan McDowell from building maintenance asked commissioners to amend the CIP by $50,000 to fund a fiscal‑year 2025 vehicle purchase to replace an aging maintenance truck with more than 80,000 miles and ongoing transmission and electrical issues.

Why it matters: Staff said the amendment can be covered by current CIP allocations and will not require an increase in the overall annual CIP transfer. The department will surplus the vehicle being replaced.

Commissioners approved the amendment by voice vote and staff will proceed with procurement in fiscal year 2025.
