Council approves transfer of 626 Main Street auto-repair license to PSM Sales & Collision

The Pawtucket City Council voted to approve the transfer of an automobile repair and secondhand-shop license at 626 Main Street to PSM Sales & Collision Inc. at its April 23 meeting.
Pierre Abiramia, who identified himself as one of three brothers purchasing the business, told the council he lives in Mendon, Massachusetts and that the family already operates two automotive businesses in Massachusetts. “My name is Pierre Abiramia, and I reside at 14 Mowry Street, Mendon, Massachusetts,” Abiramia said when asked to state his name and address for the record.
Council members said the site has operated as a collision and used-vehicle business for years and that they had not received neighborhood complaints in the speaker’s district. Abiramia said the new owners plan to keep existing hours — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. — and to continue the current business model.
Motion to approve the transfer from 247 Auto Sales / 247 Collision (Triton Collision Center LLC) to 24 7 Collision and Sales, PSM Sales and Collision Inc., license AUT-25-4, was moved by Councilor Araujo and seconded by Councilor Stokowiak; the motion carried on a voice vote.
No stipulations were added by the council at the time of approval.
