Port reviews Northeast Campus site concept plans to guide marketing and development

Port of Bremerton commissioners received an informational presentation April 22 on site concept plans for the Northeast Campus that the commission funded in the 2024 capital budget.
The plans, prepared under a roughly $65,000 contract awarded to Normal and Associates and paid from a $100,000 allocation in the 2024 capital budget, show maximum building footprints for each lot, parking layouts, emergency-vehicle access, pedestrian and bicycle access, required setbacks and landscaping. Port staff said about $41,184 had been spent so far and the contract was near completion, with one additional item outstanding.
