Mary Hamilton of 74 Second Street, San Clemente, Montana, told the Cascade County Board of Commissioners during public comment on April 8, 2025, that notices published in the newspaper should also appear on the county’s website homepage to broaden public access. Hamilton said she had seen newspaper notices about exempting the county from its own voting regulations and a 48‑hour public‑meeting notice she felt was not visible on the county website.
Hamilton requested that the completed audit be posted or that the county publish notice on its website that the audit is available for public viewing, noting she did not receive a physical newspaper and that web posting would reach more residents. She also said an annual financial report due in December had been combined with the audit and that she looks forward to reviewing the completed audit.
No action was taken during the meeting; the comment was recorded in the public‑comment period and the meeting adjourned afterward.
