4‑H and open-class schedules set; entries open May 15 to July 9

The Broadwater County Fair Board received updates on 4‑H and open-class superintendents, entry windows and event timing for the fair.
At the meeting staff confirmed that Hannah Rausser and Teddy Lewis will continue as superintendents in their respective areas. The board said it was still recruiting a culinary superintendent and named two leads.
Karen (4‑H representative) reported that pig tagging had just ended and that lamb and sheep entries begin in mid‑May (specific dates discussed included May 17, 18 and May 20 at various points in the meeting). Board members later clarified the open-class entry window runs from May 15 to July 9.
Board members said that livestock and rodeo parking and camping plans will be coordinated at a July meeting with the rodeo board. The 4‑H parent tree (registration portal) opens at the same time as open class and closes July 9.
