They’re being irrigated already, through the sprinkler systems that are out there,” a presenter said. County staff and commissioners agreed no official motion was necessary and directed staff to notify the contractor that the contract would not be executed.
No vote was recorded on the contract during the meeting; commissioners indicated ongoing donations to the local tree board would continue but the specific Landscaping Unlimited contract was not needed.
The commission requested staff follow up with the contractor and to keep routine maintenance and any major trimming procedures under standard contracting or in-house procedures.
