Villa Rica council names interim managers, approves pay increases and property purchases after executive session

After returning from executive session on May 13, the Villa Rica City Council announced several personnel appointments and property transactions it had approved in closed session.

The council approved interim assignments and pay adjustments: Jennifer Hallman was confirmed as interim city manager and approved for a $1,500 weekly pay increase effective May 1; John Bain was named interim deputy city manager with a $1,000 weekly pay increase effective May 1; and Amanda Long was named interim finance director with a $500 weekly pay increase while serving in that role.
