RSU 10 special education staff report surge in transfers and incoming kindergarten needs, raising budget and service concerns

Special education administrators told the Westin Foothills RSU 10 School Board that the district is seeing a substantial increase in demand for special education services from three sources: incoming preschool-to-kindergarten identifications, transfers from other districts, and internal referrals.
