Board adopts several policy revisions and withdraws outdated policy items

Board members asked clarifying questions about the origin and scope of JICDD (out-of-school discipline) and JLCA (physical examination requirements), and SAU staff and school nurses were cited as having participated in policy drafting and review. One board member said the JICDD policy tightened language about off-campus conduct but was not as broad as originally feared. On JLCA, members confirmed district-sponsored athletic teams are not currently active and outside organizations using school facilities carry their own paperwork; the board noted the policy would remain in place should a school-sponsored team return.
A board member moved to adopt the listed policies and withdraw the specified items; the motion was seconded and the board approved the changes.
