- Certification of eligible lists: The board certified eligibility lists for deputy city marshal sergeant (promotional), fire engineer (promotional), heavy equipment operator (open), materials management technician (open), network administration specialist (open), senior parking enforcement officer (promotional) and senior systems analyst (open). A motion to approve those certifications was made and carried by voice vote.
- Extension of eligible lists: The board voted to extend eligible lists for chemist (open), court compliance officer (open), firefighter trainee (open), senior instrument technician (open) and water quality technician (open). Member Bonicello moved to approve the extensions; the motion carried.
- Classification specification and abolition: The board certified a classification specification for clinical evaluator after a motion from Member Hatch. Separately, the board voted to abolish the eligible list for control room supervisor following a motion by Member Pannett Cho.
- Rehire list: The board approved a request to place Jennifer Fox on the rehire list for administrative support assistant; a motion to approve that item was made and carried.
Meeting process and participation
Actions were taken by motion and voice vote; the transcript records that motions were made for each item and that the motions carried. Two members were recorded as excused during roll call (Member Clemens and Member Stamper).
