The Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical School Committee approved routine business items including a motion to transfer unspent transportation funds into the transportation reimbursement fund (amount to be determined once final invoices are received), designated a list of equipment as surplus, and received personnel appointments, retirements and resignations for the record.
Committee members voted in favor of the transportation reimbursement transfer with the understanding that the final transfer amount would be calculated after outstanding invoices were received. The administration said Tremblay invoices and final totals would be available after July 1.
The committee also approved a list of equipment to be declared surplus and accepted donations from Lawrence Lynch Corp. and Richard Portis. The administration read calendar items for seniors: awards night (May 14), prom (May 22), graduation (June 6 at 6 p.m.) and last day of school (June 16).
These approvals were recorded by voice/roll call votes with no dissent reported in the meeting minutes.
