Honolulu City Council honors James Campbell High School junior varsity championship teams

Council Member Talbot, who presented the honors, said, "Today, we honor 3 outstanding Campbell High School athletic teams." Talbot also recognized Senator Kurt Fevella in the chamber and acknowledged the contributions of families and school staff who supported the teams.
Details mentioned during the presentation: the girls soccer team won the championship match on Jan. 10 against Mililani, ending Mililani's 23-year unbeaten streak; the girls finished the season with six wins and one loss. The boys basketball team completed an undefeated season and, on Feb. 4, beat Kahuku High School to secure the OIA JV championship. The JV boys volleyball team won the 2025 preseason Long E tournament with an 11-1 record and later captured the JV championship.
