Administrative approvals and contract/finance items (approved): - The balance of the administrative agenda was approved with the addition of administrative item 44 (a lease‑fence item related to Lompoc parking lot security) after the Clerk noted the addendum had been posted and no members of the public requested to speak. - Administrative Item 20 (PUF report) was pulled for discussion and approved by the board (see separate article for details). - Administrative Item 22: The Board authorized staff to apply for Homekey Plus funding (a Homekey planning/application step) and the item was approved after a short presentation from Community Services staff. - Administrative Item 29: The Board approved the mid‑year ARPA Child Care Sector Relief and Recovery Initiative report and a first amendment to a subrecipient agreement with United Way of Santa Barbara County to continue ARPA child‑care relief work; staff explained the timeline for capital projects and scholarships and said the 250 slots referenced will be underway by June 30, 2025 though some capital invoices may appear in the new fiscal year.

Notes on procedure: Several administrative items were pulled by supervisors for discussion prior to approval. The Board accepted staff clarifications on posting, addendums and public notice where applicable.
Ending: The proclamations and administrative approvals advance ceremonial recognitions, grant and application steps and local program agreements; items that require additional action (Homekey application, ARPA childcare deliverables) will return or be monitored by staff against stated deliverable timelines.
